Your Body Type is the first clue in successfully unlocking true fat burning in your body. There are four Body Types. Each body type has a specific eating plan and exercise program.

Eating and exercising for the wrong Body Type leads to frustration, confusion and slow to no weight loss. This is why you have not had success yet.

The shape to the left is the Thyroid Body Shape. If this looks familiar and your are struggling with weight that affects your self image, your freedoms, your self esteem, your ability to enjoy life to the fullest…

The Thyroid “runs” our metabolism—it is the “gas pedal” of the body.

Thyroid hormones have direct effects on most organs, including the heart which beats faster and harder under the influence of increased thyroid hormones (this is why heart problems can often accompany chronic thyroid problems in women, and perhaps why heart problems are more common in women under the age of 50).

T3 is the more biologically active hormone (it’s more important for cellular function), and in fact most of T4 (80%) is converted to T3 in the body’s peripheral tissues. So T4 is just a precursor for the more active hormone, T3.

One of the problems in some thyroid disorders is that you may have trouble converting T4 to T3 in your tissues (have you been checked for this?). This can create a deficiency of T3, disrupting the body’s ability to properly regulate metabolism…leading to specific symptoms.

There are some clinicians that are treating thyroid conditions with iodine. I do not recommend iodine in the treatment of thyroid conditions. According to renowned thyroid expert, Dr. Datis Kharriazian, author of the book, Why Do I Still Have Thyroid Symptoms?, using iodine to treat thyroid conditions is akin to throwing gasoline on a fire.

Seven Major Thyroid Patterns

There are actually seven different patterns that can lead to a low thyroid problem. Unfortunately, most health practitioners aren’t aware of these different patterns or their model of care simply treats each pathway the same. This can be frustrating and time consuming to the patients who seek care from them as the thyroid problem continues on in spite of their treatment.

I am going to briefly review the different patterns… CLICK HERE to learn what the additional pathways are.

———————————————————————————————-

Book Recommendation:

Interested in a good book on the thyroid? I have just the one. This book is the #1 BESTSELLER for Thyroid Problems. It has contributed to much of how I think and approach my patients with Thyroid Problems. Enjoy!

THYROID PROBLEMS?

<p style=”text-align: center;”>I treat my patients metabolically and neurologically! This is <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>very important!
I find that chronic health issues (like Thyroid problems) are part metabolic (having to do with body function)
and part neurologic (having to do with the brain and nerves).

<h2 style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #0000ff;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>FIRST: SPECIFIC METABOLIC TESTING AND TREATMENTS

<span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>I: Thyroid Testing:

If you have a Thyroid problem or suspect that you have one, you need to have it fully evaluated. Traditional thyroid testing begins and ends with testing your TSH levels. Thyroid function can be affected by a variety of things and simply testing for TSH levels is ignoring the other variables. Testing for TSH <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>is not enough.
<p style=”text-align: center;”>What other tests of the thyroid are necessary?

<img style=”margin-left: 20px; margin-right: 20px;” title=”Blood Chemistry Vials” src=”http://itsaboutmythyroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/chemistry-blood.jpg” alt=”" width=”177″ height=”220″ />

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (THS): this is the hormone “message” sent from a gland in the brain (the pituitary) to the thyroid.

Free T3: an important hormone produced by the thyroid gland, considered to be the more biologically active hormone.

Free T4: another important hormone produced by the thyroid gland.

Thyroid Binding Globulin (TBG): This test measures the amount of proteins in the blood that transport thyroid hormones to the cells. Elevated testosterone can lower TBG levels and elevated estrogen can raise TBG levels. Both can produce hypothyroid symptoms.

Thyroid Antibodies (TGB & TPO): checked in suspected cases of autoimmune thyroid disorders (see below)

Total T4: this is a reflection of how much total T4 hormone there is in the blood.

Total T3: this is a reflection of how much total T3 hormone there is in the blood.

Free Thyroxine Index (FTI): this is an estimate of how much thyroxine is in the blood.

Resin T3 Uptake (T3U): this test measures the unsaturated binding sites on the thyroid proteins.

<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”>WHEN THE THYROID IS NOT EVALUATED THOROUGHLY ENOU<span style=”color: #ff0000;”>GH<span style=”color: #ff0000;”>, AN INCOMPLETE PICTURE AS TO WHAT IS REALLY THE PROBLEM ARISES – THIS CAN LEAD TO POOR OR MISMANAGEMENT OF CARE.

<span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>II: Sensitivity Testing:

To determine if you have a sensitivity to gluten (wheat, rye, oats, and barley) and gluten-associated sensitivity and cross reactivity. <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>If you are <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>sensitive to ANY of these food groups, it could be <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>making your THYROID CONDITION worse as it will increase inflammation in your brain and throughout your body!

Here are some of the symptoms of these sensitivities:

Chronic pain or fatigue

Frequent indigestion

Bloated after eating

Frequent loose bowel movements

Constipation

Mouth ulcers or sores

The only way to find out of you are suffering from any of these sensitivities is the run the test.
<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”>SENSITIVITIES TO KEY PROTEINS WILL LEAD TO DIGESTIVE DISTRESS, ANTIBODY PRODUCTION, POOR ASSIMILATION OF NUTRITION, WATER RETENTION, AND FAT CONVERSION. THIS IS NOT SIMPLY FIXED BY TAKING VITAMINS, DOING DETOXES, CHELATION THERAPIES, ETC.

<span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>III. Complete Blood Panel:

By using specific blood tests such as:

A Comprehensive Executive Metabolic Panel: includes 24 important disease markers such as Glucose, A1c (blood sugar), SGOT, SGPT, GGT, Biliruben (Liver), BUN, Creatinine, Uric Acid (Kidney), Alkaline Phosphatase (Bone)

A Cardiovascular Panel: includes Cholesterol, Triglycerides, LDL, HDL, VLDL, Cholesterol/HDL Ratio, LDL/HDL Ration, Fibrinogen, C-Reactive Protein (CRP)

Iron/Anemia Panel: includes TIBC, UIBC, Serum Iron, Iron Saturation, Serum FerritiN

Inflammatory Markers: C-Reactive Protien, Homocysteine

A CBC (complete blood chemistry with auto differential): includes Red Blood Cell counts, White Blood Cell counts, Platelet counts.

Urinalysis

We can assess your thyroid, adrenal glands, liver, kidneys, red/white blood cells and gut function with the above lab tests. <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>All can be affected with chronic health <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>conditions. By addressing any problems with your thyroid, adrenal glands, blood chemistry, or gut function, we can help you to heal faster. The CMP also allows us to check your blood glucose levels since glucose and oxygen are needed by the brain to function properly.

<span style=”color: #ff0000;”>CRITICAL POINT: I am aware of the fact that you have had blood testing done before (and you may have been told that everything was normal), but your test results must be compared to FUNCTIONAL values and not the PATHOLOGICAL values of the labs. Traditional lab testing is designed to catch disease, but not the departure from health. They allow too many things to slip through!!!

Example: Glucose values (12 hour fasting):
<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>Pathological Values for Normal: 65-99

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>Functional Values for Normal: 85-99

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>*Notice how different the ranges are. If you were to have your blood drawn from the lab or the health fair and it were 70 – you would be told that everything was normal, however look below at the functional values – you could be dealing with hypoglycemia and wouldn’t know it.

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>Hypoglycemic: 84 or less

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>Insulin resistance/pre-diabetes: 100-126

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>Diabetes: 127 or higher

Not only must the correct tests be ordered, but they must be interpreted by FUNCTIONAL values.

The five (5) priorities when assessing the bloodwork; they are:

Autoimmune

Anemia

Blood sugar/ASI

GI/liver

Fatty acid metabolism

If these are present and not identified and worked on, they will slow progress, not matter what you do.
<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”>OUT-OF-BALANCE BLOOD SUGAR, ELEVATED INFLAMMATORY MARKERS, AUTOIMMUNITY, INFECTION PATTERNS, POOR DIGESTION (just to name a few) ARE “DEAL BREAKERS” – MEANING, THAT YOUR BODY CANNOT WORK ON HEALING THE GLAND WHEN THESE THINGS ARE PRESENT.

<span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>IV: Adrenal Stress Test (AST)<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>:

You can test the adrenal glands with a test called an Adrenal Stress Index. This is a salivary test much like DNA testing. The adrenal glands sit right above the kidneys and they are your “stress” organs meaning that they react to stress. If you have been or are currently under stress, this test is a must!

<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>IF YOU SUFFER FROM INSOMNIA AND/OR DIABETES, THIS TEST IS A MUST! IT WILL MEASURE YOUR CORTISOL LEVELS.
<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”>ADRENAL GLAND PROBLEMS WILL MESS UP SLEEP CYCLES. YOU SO MOST OF YOUR HEALING WHILE YOU SLEEP. YOU CANNOT FIX THIS PROBLEM BY FOCUSING ONLY ON THE ADRENALS. THIS IS NOT FIXED BY TAKING A “GLANDULAR” ADRENAL SUPPLEMENT.

<span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>V. Immune Panels—<span style=”color: #ff0000;”>EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!:

Your THYROID PROBLEM could be caused by an auto immune condition. Your immune system could be attacking your brain and nervous system. This is why the immune panels are so important.
<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>TH1 is T-cells. T-cells are the army that attacks and cleans up afterword. (Helper T-cells, Suppressor T-cells, NKC, regulatory T-cells, and macrophages.

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>TH2 is B-cells. B-cells make anti-bodies. They tell T-cells what to kill. If the testing comes back with a high B-cell count, the patient is TH2 dominant.

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>TH17. This part of the immune system is stimulated by an imbalance; a predominance of either the TH1 or TH2 side. When the TH17 side is stimulated, cell/tissue death is taking place.

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>Appropriate testing or challenging of the Immune System can determine which part of the Immune System is out of balance.

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>You will want to determine if there is an active antigen or dysregulation.

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>Active antigens are parasites, bacteria, virus, mold, yeast, fungi, protozoan, foods, chemicals, and heavy metals.

<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”>IMMUNE PROBLEMS EQUATE TO INFLAMMATION. INFLAMMATION IS TOXIC TO BRAIN CELLS. YOU CANNOT ADDRESS A THYROID PROBLEM WITH AN IMMUNE PROBLEM. IF YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ONE AUTOIMMUME PROBLEM THE LIKELIHOOD OF YOU HAVING ANOTHER OR GETTING ANOTHER DRAMATICALLY INCREASES. THIS MUST BE RULED OUT BY THE RIGHT TYPE OF TESTING.

<span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>VI. <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Intestinal Permeability/”Leaky Gut” Problems:

This test is used to determine if the patient suffers from leaky gut syndrome (LGS).

LGS or Leaky gut syndrome describes a condition of altered or damaged bowel lining, caused by antibiotics, toxins, poor diet, parasites or infection can lead to increased permeability of the gut wall to toxins, microbes, undigested food, waste or larger than normal macromolecules. It has been proposed that these substances affect the body directly, while others postulate an <a title=”Immune system” href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immune_system”>immune reaction to these substances.
<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”>MANY IMMUNE PROBLEMS START WITH A GUT PROBLEM. A LEAKY GUT IS ASSOCIATED WITH HASHIMOTO’S (AUTOIMMUNE) THYROID PROBLEMS. THIS CANNOT BE FIXED WITH A VITAMIN OR PILL.

<span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>VII. Hormone Panels:

We can check hormone panels to determine if the patient suffers from low testosterone in males or low estrogen/progesterone levels in females. Symptoms related to decreased hormone levels may include depression, fatigue, mental fogginess, mood swings, hot flashes, sweating attacks, weight gain, and decreased physical stamina.
<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”>THERE IS CONSTANT “CROSS-TALK” BETWEEN THE ENDOCRINE (HORMONE) SYSTEM AND THE THYROID GLAND. IMBALANCES IN THE THYROID CAN DISRUPT OTHER HORMONES AND VICE VERSE.

<span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>VIII. Inflammation:

We need to test for inflammation in your system by testing homo-cysteine levels and C-Reactive Protein (C-RP). Many patients suffering from chronic health conditions suffer from inflammatory processes. Just about every THYROID patient that I have treated suffers from some form of chronic inflammatory process.
<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”>AS MENTIONED ABOVE, INFLAMMATION IS TOXIC TO BRAIN CELLS. YOU CANNOT LOSE WEIGHT WHILE YOUR BODY IS FIGHTING A FIRE (an inflammation) ELSEWHERE IN THE BODY. APPROPRIATE TESTING AND ASSESSMENT IS CRUCIAL.

<h2 style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #0000ff;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>SECOND: SPECIFIC NEUROLOGICAL TESTING AND TREATMENTS

<span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>I. Functional Neurological Evaluation:

<p style=”text-align: justify;”><img title=”Brain Map” src=”http://itsaboutmythyroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Brain-Map.jpg” alt=”" width=”376″ height=”252″ />Perhaps you have already had a “traditional” medical neurological examination. A functional neurological examination is different. It is designed to test your functions and activities and trace any abnormalities in function to the area(s) of the brain that is responsible for those action. Ask yourself this question: What part of the body runs the show? Answer: The brain and nervous system. If you have been trying to fix a health problem (including weight loss/gain) with no success – you must look towards the brain.

<p style=”text-align: justify;”>KEY POINT: The THYROID gland is only a factory – it produces hormones. All too often, the factory is working correctly, but the those giving the factory orders have a problem – in this case the brain.

<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”>THE BRAIN RUNS THE SHOW, YET EVERYONE ELSE SEEMS TO BE TREATING THE SYMPTOMS OR THE MANIFESTATIONS OF NEURO-DEGENERATION INSTEAD OF EVALUATING THE BRAIN. THIS IS WHAT I DO!

<span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>II. Oxygen Therapy:

Oxygen is fuel for your brain and nervous system. Your brain and nervous system need two things to survive…..fuel and activation. Fuel comes in the form of OXYGEN AND GLUCOSE. By using oxygen, we will help you heal faster. By using exercise with oxygen therapy (EWOT), we can increase firing to brain. By increasing firing of brain, we help MANY chronic conditions.<a title=”Oxygen Therapy” href=”../oxygen” target=”_self”>

<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”>THE BRAIN CAN ONLY SURVIVE MINUTES WITHOUT OXYGEN. YEARS OF NOT GETTING THE BRAIN ENOUGH OXYGEN WILL HAVE DAMAGING EFFECTS.

<span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>III. Brain-Based Therapy (BBT):

We use specific brain-based therapy such as:
<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”><span style=”color: #008000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Vibration Therapy: Vibration fires the back part of the brain called the cerebellum. One of the functions of the cerebellum is control of the spinal muscle.

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>We may also use the following to increase the firing of specific areas of the brain:

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”><span style=”color: #008000;”>Auditory Stimulation / Visual Stimulation / Olfactory Stimulation

<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”><span style=”color: #008000;”>Caloric Stimulation / Balance Stimulation / Muscle Stretching

<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”>THE BRAIN IS LIKE A MUSCLE IN THAT IF YOU DON’T USE IT – YOU WILL LOSE IT. IF CERTAIN AREAS OF THE BRAIN ARE NOT STIMULATED APPROPRIATELY, YOU WILL LOSE THE FUNCTION THAT THOSE AREAS OF THE BRAIN CONTROL. DOING SUDOKU OR CROSSWORDS PUZZLES IS NOT SPECIFIC ENOUGH REHAB MOST OF THE BRAIN.

Once we have run the necessary tests to determine your specific condition, we can successfully treat you via proper neurological and all natural nutritional protocols.
<h2 style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #ff0000;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Ask yourself the following questions:

<h1 style=”text-align: center;”>

<h3 style=”text-align: center;”>1) How has your THYROID PROBLEM affected your relationships, finances, family, or other activities?

<h3 style=”text-align: center;”>2) What has it cost you in time, money, happiness, sleep?

<h3 style=”text-align: center;”>3) Where do you picture yourself in the next one to three years if this problem is not taken care of soon?

<h3 style=”text-align: center;”>4) What is it worth to you if we could improve your condition?

<p style=”text-align: center;”><img title=”Whats Next” src=”http://itsaboutmythyroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Whats-Next.jpg” alt=”" width=”479″ height=”86″ />

<p style=”text-align: center;”>If you are ready to have someone critically look at what has been done in the past, what is currently being done to you and to work with the latest research and science
to end your Thyroid nightmare, you have two options:

<p style=”text-align: center;”> 1) Sign up for our free Thyroid Recovery workshop and meet Dr. Erickson.

<p style=”text-align: center;”> Or

I want to share with you an incredible offer. In “The Stubborn Thyroid” I go into many aspects of health and how many times the thyroid alone is not the culprit – as a matter of fact, it is often the innocent victim of other health problems. You will not be able to improve your health and standing if you don’t know what is REALLY going on.

Now – to this incredible offer:

All of my patients start out with a “New Patient Start-up” or NPS visit. This consists of detailed paperwork (that you fill out on your past and present history), a review of past labs (if you have had them done) and two-part consultation/examination with me. The first part is a 60 minute appointment in which you are examined from a Functional Neurological perspective. The second part is a “Discovery” visit where I review with you the results of your exams, paperwork, labs, whether your a “fit” for our program and give you a written recommendation for care.

Incredible offer: For the next two weeks the NPS visits are discounted by over 70%.

I don’t leave any stones unturned in my effort to find out what is causing your thyroid symtpoms. Don’t pass up on this opportunity!

“If you have had thyroid problems for a short time or a long time and still are struggling

If you have/or think you have a thyroid problem, watch the above 16 minute video

_______________

The thyroid gland influences ALL other cells in the body – this means that thyroid problems can influence the heart (racing heart), it can influence the brain (brain fog, difficulty focusing), it can influence bone growth (osteoporosis), it can influence digestion (acid reflux, constipation, poor nutrition use), it can influence…..every cell in the body. This alone makes a thyroid problem a serious, life altering condition…

…BUT what if there was something else that was causing the thyroid to malfunction?

Seven Major Thyroid Patterns

There are actually seven different patterns that can lead to a low thyroid problem. Unfortunately, most health practitioners aren’t aware of these different patterns or their model of care simply treats each pathway the same. This can be frustrating and time consuming to the patients who seek care from them as the thyroid problem continues on in spite of their treatment.

I am going to briefly review the different patterns. A more thorough discussion of the Thyroid is found at our Thyroid Workshops – CLICK HERE for more information and to reserve your seat.

On with the Thyroid patterns…

1) Primary Hypothyroidism – this is a true hypothyroidism and is the only one of the seven that can benefit from thyroid medication. This is a thyroid that is functioning below normal.

2) Hypothyroidism Symptoms Secondary to Pituitary Dysfunction - this is not a thyroid problem in as much as it is a pituitary problem. The brain is not relaying the right information to the thyroid and the result is a sluggish thyroid. BEWARE – taking thyroid medication, birth control pills and estrogen creams can actually make this pattern worse.

3) Thyroid Symptoms due to Under-Conversion – many people aren’t aware that most of your thyroid hormones are activated or converted elsewhere in the body. If not enough thyroid hormones are activated elsewhere in the body, this will lead to hypothyroid symptoms. In this case, the problem isn’t necessarily the thyroid and this pattern indicates that there is more going on in the body than just the thyroid.

4) Thyroid Symptoms due to Over-Conversion – if too much of the thyroid hormones are activated, this overwhelms the thyroid receptor sites and shuts them down. This pattern indicates that there is more going on in the body than just they thyroid.

5) Thyroid Symptoms due to Thyroid Binding Globulin (TBG) Elevation – I am not going to go into all the biochemical details on this one, but realize that elevated TBG levels can cause hypothyroid symptoms. Again, the problem is not necessarily the thyroid. This pattern can be aggravated by hormone creams, oral contraceptives, etc.

6) Thyroid Resistance – the glands are fine as well as the hormone levels, but the hormones are getting into the cells. This is often seen in response to a chronic stress response (lots of stress for a long time) that is adversely affecting the body (including the thyroid).

7) Thyroid Symptoms due to an Auto-Immune attack on the Thyroid – this one is not a thyroid problem, but an immune problem. It is only definitively diagnosed by labwork.

You may have noticed that only one of the patterns truly deals with the thyroid itself – all of the others are breakdowns elsewhere in the body.

——————————————————————–

Are you ready to do something about it? Use the form on the right to request your TWO FREE VISITS to determine if you are a candidate for our program. NOT ALL ARE ACCEPTED.

[Video Introduction: sitting at desk and talking to the camera]

Hello!,

You may well agree that our current approach to “health care” needs a lot of work. There are many that refer to our health care system as being “disease care”. I can’t help but agree as I look around at how much time, money and energy is sunk into treating disease, while very little (in comparison) is spent in creating health.

Our current method of treating “health” was established back in the 1960s and 1970s and is still alive and well today. Actually, this is not a good thing.

Current practices (in both medicine and alternative) are still looking for that magic drug or vitamin or supplement that will fix all of the symtpoms. Perhaps you feel that you have too many prescriptions in your medicine cabinet or a too many bottles of vitamins in your cupboard. Current procedures still support grabbing a reference book or even googling your symptoms and then snapping up all of the vitamins or minerals that are supposed to fix that symptom is an outdated method of health care.

This method of “health care” is not only outdated, but damaging. This MUST be replaced by a comprehensive knowledge of what had to go wrong in the body in order for those symptoms to show up. This is not found in a reference manual and not on the internet.

You do not have a thyroid problem, you have a HEALTH problem!

You do not have a fibromyalgia problem, you have a HEALTH problem!

You do not have a migraine headache problem, you have a HEALTH problem!

You do not have a [insert symptom], you have a HEALTH problem!

Are you serious about getting to the bottom of your health care problem? STOP! Think about it – are you really serious about getting to the bottom of your health care problem? Are you serious enough to “leave no stone unturned” in an effort to find answers? Are you willing to change your life to get your life back?

The only way that you can have the hope of resolving your pain, your thyroid, your energy, your sanity, your vitality, your whatever, is to work on YOU!

It is not about your diagnosis – it is not about what you read on the internet – it is not about what you read in a magazine – it is about getting those aspects of your health that are currently off-line back on-line again.

I run a very unique and personalized health care practice. Not anyone is accepted for care. All are screened to see if you are a good fit for what I do. I want to get your results, but you HAVE to want it as badly or worse than I do.

I have included some papers that I want you to read through:

Curious about who chooses our office?

Here are some reasons why my office may NOT be right for you. [Click the image to enlarge]

+

Here are my criteria for considering a new patient.

You must accept 100% for your health. This may sound very basic, but the reality is that you are the only one that can accept 100% responsibility for your health. It is not the government’s responsibility, it is not your employer’s responsibility, it is not your insurance company’s responsibility. It is YOURS and only YOURS!

You must be willing to change your life. In order for your life to change “back to where you want it to be” you must be willing to change your life. If you are unwilling to change – I can’t help you and no one can help you.

You cannot be currently smoking. Remember the goal is to treat the person and work on your health – smoking is so “opposite” of creating health that it will not work while you are smoking. If you are smoke free for at least three (3) months and sign an affidavit that you are smoke-free, we can start the candidacy process.

Insurance does not cover this type of care. If you are hunting for a program that will be covered in part or entirely by insurance, my office is not the one for you. If you are looking for a “deal” or shopping for the cheapest service, my office is not the one for you. The old saying, “You get what you pay for” is true with health care – true health care. If you want to continue with the medications that aren’t working, but insurance covers them – then continue what you are doing.

*If you have a problem with any one of these four items – you are not a candidate.

Someone has to be the person that tells you what you need to hear – this often isn’t what you want to hear. I am that person.

I handle hard health care problems and if I accept you it is because I feel that I can make a difference for you. What are you willing to do, to change, to pay, to be for better health?

If you have made it this far and are still interested in meeting with me – download the paperwork, fill it out and bring it in on your appointed time.
